I made my half size reproduction by printing the templates at 50%
‘Kathleen’s Wheel’ – is an original pattern inspired by an amazing antique quilt in my collection
I purchased this graphic quilt 25 years ago from a seller living in Central New Jersey, USA.
The quilt reminds me of fireworks – a Catherine Wheel in fact and so with a twist on that, I’ve
named the pattern in honour of my beloved grandmother Kathleen…..a firecracker herself!
Use a controlled palette like the original or perhaps make it scrappy: your choice!
