#2 – Nonagon Star Block – OPA Sampler SAL 2023 – PDF Pattern.
Our gorgeous second block is #2 ‘Nonagon Star’ – a nine sided polygon star is also known as an Enneagram, Nonagram and Star of Goliath.
Well Nonagon Star was quite the challenge to draw however our original maker included this star in her antique quilt so I persevered and won!
I altered the colourway……..originally the buff – aka boring beige would have been a rich, dark teal green.
It must have been so devastating to watch that colour fade away because her quilt was exposed to light.
I am sure she would approve of my changes!
This pattern contains:

• Full size Foundation Paper Piecing pattern pages should you prefer to use FPP to piece your block
• Templates ready to trace for hand piecing

There are #49 blocks in total…….with each block finishing at 11 inches square.
Now that the SAL has ended each block is now priced at $5.00.
However should you wish to purchase the complete set of #49 x patterns it works out to approx $1.00 each.
#2 – Nonagon Star Block is a PDF Pattern available as a digital download.
Simply ‘add to cart’, enter your details, click ‘proceed to checkout’ and then click ‘place order’.
After that your green download link will appear.
Subsequently you will also receive an email with the download link should you happen to miss that step.
IMPORTANT
To ensure accurate sizing of your blocks you first need to save that file onto your computer.
Open that file using Adobe Reader and turn off scaling: ie select ‘Print at 100%’ or ‘Actual Size’.
PLEASE READ: How to Download & Print a Digital PDF Quilt Pattern BEFORE printing off your pattern.
After printing be sure to measure the one inch grid which you can find at the bottom left hand side of the page.
Once again, printing directly from a link usually alters the formatting and size of your pattern!
