6″ Grid to Check Your Printer and Scaling
For accurate templates and foundations it’s crucial to make sure you are printing correctly.
Printing directly from the PDF when it opens in your browser will result in scaling issues even
if you select 100%…..especially on Apple devices.
• Simply ‘add to cart’, enter your details, click ‘proceed to checkout’ and then click ‘place order’. After that your GREEN download link will appear
• You will also receive an email with the download link should you happen to miss that step
• Save the PDF to your desktop files
• Open using a PDF reader like Adobe
• Make sure you have selected ‘100%’ or ‘Actual size’ then print.
Despite following these steps as above some printers may still print a little small.
A 6 x 6 inch grid will show up the discrepancy better than a one inch grid.
If despite following these steps your square measures slightly under….try increasing the size
to 103% and see if that helps.
If so then you will know that with any PDF pattern you should print using that scaling.
