FINISHED FULL SIZE QUILT – 73½″ x 83″ – (187 cm x 211 cm)
The original quilt measures a rather hefty 92″ x 102″
When writing the pattern I reduced the hexie size down from 1″ to ¾”
My reproduction Petals-n-Plaid crib quilt is half that size again using ⅜” hexies.

‘Petals-n-Plaid’ – is an original pattern inspired by a unique 1850’s antique quilt in my collection.
I purchased this sweet quilt two decades ago from a seller living in Norfolk, UK.
I love the juxtaposition of all those soft coloured hexies that make up the star centre surrounded
by bold plaids and stripes.

Use a scrappy palette for the hexagon centre like the original or perhaps fussy cut your hexies: your choice!

Important:

To ensure accurate sizing of your templates you first need to save the files onto your computer.
Open your file using Adobe Reader and turn off scaling: ie select ‘Print at 100%’ or ‘Actual Size’.
PLEASE READ: How to Download & Print a Digital PDF Quilt Pattern BEFORE printing off your pattern.
Once you have printed your pattern be sure to measure the one inch grid which found at the bottom left hand side of the template pages.
Remember, printing directly from a link subsequently alters the formatting and size of your pattern!
