Description
Pine Burr Quilt Block – Free PDF Pattern
Last year on Instagram I shared a few of my ‘Pine Burr’ or ‘Feathered World with no End’ quilts/tops.
Subsequently I wanted to draft and make my own mini Pine Burr block ever since.
Here we are finally……the FREE pattern to make your own Pine Burr block…..and you even have choices!
Firstly decide whether you like the four or nine patch centre.
Personally I like the symmetry of the nine patch but that’s the perfectionist of my other self speaking!
Click the following link to read the blog post I wrote called Pine Burr Quilt Block – Free PDF Pattern for more notes and photos.
The pattern is available as a FREE PDF digital download and measures 7½” finished size.
Simply ‘add to cart’, enter your details, click ‘proceed to checkout’ and then click ‘place order’: your download link will appear.
If you would like to make the full size block then enlarge the printing to 200% which will bring you up to 15″.
This pattern contains:
• Full size Foundation Paper Piecing pattern pages should you prefer to use FPP to piece either block
• Templates ready to trace for hand piecing
• Cut for foundations apart to EPP your block.
Important:
To ensure accurate sizing of your blocks you first need to save the file onto your computer.
Open that file using Adobe Reader and turn off scaling: ie select ‘Print at 100%’ or ‘Actual Size’.
PLEASE READ: How to Download & Print a Digital PDF Quilt Pattern BEFORE printing off your pattern.
Once you have printed your pattern be sure to measure the one inch grid which found at the bottom left hand side of the page.
Remember, printing directly from a link usually alters the formatting and size of your pattern!
I hope you enjoy making your own Pine Burr Quilt Block.
When posting your finished block on Instagram then please tag me and use the hashtag #oldepatchartpineburr I would love to see your blocks.
