This is a gorgeous set of 1880 Sawtooth Star quilt blocks…..this is one listing of three.

I purchased these sawtooth stars from a seller living in Texas USA in 2002.
They measure approx 9″ x 9″ however there are a couple that measure 8½” and a few at 9½ square.
Personally I would repiece them to be all the same size.
The maker used a multitude of different scraps to piece her blocks……..my favourites are the madder blocks.
The seams are neat and tight with the fabrics still in very good, strong condition.
There are a few minor age stains with no odours noted.
I have pictured a stain as shown.
You could frame or display these blocks as-is, use for fabric study or make more blocks to compliment these and finish a project using quilt blocks pieced 100 years ago!
You may also elect to salvage the fabrics & use them in other projects, to restore a favourite antique quilt or make crib, doll’s quilts, cushions etc…..you decide.
